Academically, Bill holds a Master of Enterprise Innovation, has studied Systems Analysis and Design, and an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling. In addition, Bill is a Registered Behavioural Coach, has an Executive Diploma in Business Coaching, a Certificate in Workplace Coaching, is a Trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and a Master Practitioner of both NLP and Neuro-Semantics. He is also accredited in a number of psychological profiling instruments. Bill was the Founding President of the Australasian Institute of Professional Coaches Inc.
Bill’s academic career has enabled him to add a strong theoretical base to his practical experience. From 1997 - 2000 Bill was a Director of the Swinburne University of Technology’s Graduate School MBA Program. He was also, at the time, Chairman of the University’s Strategic Working Party for the then new Graduate School (now the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship or ‘AGSE’). Upon invitation Bill has also lectured on a ‘sessional’ basis in a variety of post graduate Strategy, Leadership, Management and Human Resource Management based disciplines at Swinburne University, Melbourne (University) Business School, Mt Eliza, Monash University, La Trobe University, The Centre for Innovation and Enterprise and in the Corporate sector where he is well recognised for his ability to focus such programs around the integration of both practice and theory.
Prior to 2009 Bill was instrumental in establishing a number of new enterprises, was principal of a successful international consultancy and had a significant role in community led recovery following the Victorian Bushfires of 2009, Australia’s largest natural disaster. He is now looking to bring his experience to the Phoenix Institute.

Janice has over 20 years experience in learning and development, organisational change and program and project management working in both the public and private sectors. She has experience as a manager, trainer, facilitator, executive coach, course designer and course developer. Janice has worked with a diverse range of organisations and industries including pharmacy management, call centres, hospitality, retail, finance operations, IT, Defence as well as extensive experience in Registered Training Organisation management. Working in these organisations has exposed Janice to numerous business models and management styles across a variety of industries.
Janice is passionate about bringing positive change to individuals and teams and is committed to providing services that transform their immediate environment. Specifically, Janice is committed to work towards assisting people to realise more of their own potential through their personal development and education.
Her interests include concepts of leadership, communication styles, adult learning and loves going to the gym and renovating houses.
Jill has been working in accounting and finance for over 30 years. She has worked as a finance manager in a number of areas including industry based ombudsman schemes, major events and the not-for-profit sector. Jill is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Jill’s many years of experience bring considerable knowledge of the finances of small to medium sized organisations and can assist Phoenix with the maintenance of internal control as well as accurate reporting of the Institute’s financial position.
Her interests include pilates, walking and watching sport.
Marketing & Research Manager

Karl is a seasoned professional with proven local and international marketing experience. He comes from a versatile commercial background working in real estate, financial services and publishing, with just over 12 years of experience under his belt.
Karl’s computer science background has equipped him with a unique digital marketing skill set, especially when combined with his commercial marketing experience, as he has a strong grasp of the latest digital marketing channels and strategies.
His experience working overseas and locally in Melbourne has enabled him to quickly adapt to different markets and management styles. He is passionately driven by challenges presented by the different economic climates. Developing end-to-end marketing strategies to retain clients and increase profitability is what keeps him motivated. Change is the only constant in business, and he has a strong grasp of that concept.
His interests include long daily runs, golf, squash and the occasional guitar jamming sessions on a lazy Sunday.
Judith's formal qualifications include a Bachelor of Education majoring in Mathematics and Earth Science, a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science and a Graduate Diploma in Information Management. In addition to these are informal studies in natural sciences and philosophy with a particular interest in the Taoist philosophy. She brings to Phoenix Institute a background in secondary, tertiary and adult education, a passion for reading, both fiction and non-fiction, and a commitment to supporting students in their quest for knowledge. Judith also enjoys creative pursuits, outdoor activities, music, solitude, time with her family and has recently taken up karate. She does not cook.

Meena started her career in education sector with MIT. Meena is a qualified professional with more than 4 years of experience in education and private sector. She worked as a lecture (IT) in education sector in India at university level and also as IT professional in the private sector. She joined Phoenix in September 2012.She has always been a active member of cultural society at her college and university level. Her interests include gardening, cooking, exercising and travelling.

Nidhi started her career in education sector nearly 7 years back. Nidhi is a qualified professional with more than 4 years of experience in education sector both technical and academic support within Australia and 3 years overseas. Nidhi has a Bachelor in IT ,Certificate IV in teaching and training and has a sound technical experience and continue to grow her knowledge. Nidhi is a team player with knowledge right across all different area within education sector. Nidhi joined Phoenix in March 2011. Nidhi enjoys travelling and listening to the music.

Jo is an educator, counsellor and kinesiologist who has worked to provide solutions for individuals to minimize stress in personal and educational situations. She is interested in research that reveals the effects of stress when engaged in learning, and its effects on the brain’s ability to function efficiently. Jo has worked in education for over 20 years and in Private Practice for over 15. She has an holistic approach to mind, body, spirit medicine. She is skilled in techniques that heal and harness individual potential resulting in the ability to successfully gather strength and heal from within. Her interests include reading, yoga and meditation, creative arts and walking along the beach with her dog.
Rosemary has joined the Phoenix Team after having worked from a corporate world background. She worked for The Herald and Weekly Times as Customer Service and Assistant Marketing Co-ordinator roles for 8 years. She has also worked previously as an Executive Assistant.
In her spare time she like to walk, read and enjoys watching soccer.
Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Management and Organisational Informatics
Clifford has been working in the education sector for more than four years including universities and state governments. During this time he coordinated placements for nursing students as well as fundraising and database improvement projects.
Having served in the German military and been a Co-Director of two startups since 2009 has taught him the discipline and analytical skills required to deliver and exceed project requirements.
He is driven by finding creative solutions to complex problems.
In his spare times Clifford likes to play sports and produce his own short films and web series'.
Senior Project Manager

Lilian is experienced in working with individuals and groups in different settings using the creative arts. She currently teaches and works on Special Projects at the Phoenix Institute. She also works privately with clients using the arts therapeutically and has a special interest in working with children. Lilian completed a Master of Arts in Experiential & Creative Arts Practice at MIECAT where she explored the collaborative use of the creative arts in meaning making and continues to develop her practice in using the creative arts as a tool for change, education and inspiration. Lilian also has a corporate background where she managed large IT projects and teams of IT professionals.
