Diploma of Transpersonal Art Therapy (51939)
The Diploma of Transpersonal Art Therapy can be undertaken as a one-year, or as a two-year course.
One Year Structure
The Module format for the one-year intensive is 6 day as follows:
Day 1: Tuesday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Day 2: Wednesday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Day 3: Thursday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Day 4: Tuesday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Day 5: Wednesday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Day 6: Thursday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
There is usually a week off between each module, with a month long semester break after Module 6.

Two Year Structure
The Module format for the two-year course is 4 days and 4 tutorials as follows:
Day 1: Friday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Day 2: Saturday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Day 3: Sunday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Day 4: Monday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Tutorial 1: weekday, 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Tutorial 2: weekday, 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Tutorial 3: weekday, 6:30pm – 9:30pm
Tutorial 4: weekday, 6:30pm – 9:30pm
There are six modules in the first year, and 5 modules in the second year. The tutorials can be done via distance but the modules must be attended.

Distance Education Option
Due to the highly experiential nature of the course, students are strongly encouraged to attend the One Year or 2 year structure, however the Distance Education Option allows students living more than a 2 hour drive from Melbourne may arrange to do the course via the Distance Education Option.
Attendance via the distance education option is made up of the following components:
1) Students need to enrol in the two year delivery course (i.e. not the one year delivery)
2) Students need to attend each four day Module from Friday to Monday inclusive.
3) Students need to attend on average two of the 5 evening tutorials
4) Students recieve aditional one on one phone sessions with a tutor, for a total of 2 hours per Module.
The distance education option costs an additional $100 per module, to cover the one on one support, and additional materials.
Any requests for changes to this arrangement need to be discussed with the Director.
