I offer Transpersonal Counselling to Individuals and Couples.  Our trials and difficulties are potent opportunities for transformation and I love working with people who have this awareness, even in the midst of their sufferings.  My aim is to support people to not only get through difficult times, but to harvest the growth and gifts that are offered through them.

I seek to provide a relationship in which people can feel safe enough to explore their edges.  I support people to discover that what they have judged or feared in themselves has purpose and beauty and is an inseparable part of who they really are.  I work collaboratively with my clients, inviting them to co-author what happens in counselling.  They are encouraged to bring their own wisdom and knowledge, whilst I bring to the table a range of tools which support people to deeply experience different aspects of themselves, and fully explore their relationship to what they’re going through.

Couples Counselling focuses strongly on the underlying emotional landscape and breaking through repetitive and unhelpful cycles of communication.  I support couples to move through their stuck places and flow forward into a deeper connection with each other and themselves.

A discount is offered to current or previous Phoenix students.  Please see my website if you’d like to know more about me or how I work.

Your core is diamond. Your talent, ability and unrealised potential are still alive, albeit dusty or masked by cobwebs. Is it time to take charge? Many of us are stuck in our own narrative, mundanely or even unhappily living the same old story year after year. This causes us to miss out on happiness and fulfillment - we neglect our inherent talents and ignore our creative potential. Deep down inside, you think “it’s not supposed to be like this!” You feel stifled and held back when you know you are able to do better! You can step forward from that old narrative and begin to create a new more authentic one – for yourself. Believing that you inherently have the ability to heal yourself ….. together with The Real You and using Transpersonal Counselling, you can achieve Acceptance, Authenticity and Empowerment. ACCEPTANCE - of your journey; of your Self; of your life; and of others in your life; AUTHENTICITY – giving you the opportunity to discover what your personal Truth is for your life; (Authenticity is a key principle at The Real You) EMPOWERMENT - to enjoy clarity within by lessening inner conflict, creating a deep sustainable peace. These three elements allow you to move confidently forward in life and enable you to create the opportunities within the right personal environment to expand and utilise your natural talents and potential to achieve the Self-actualisation to which you aspire.

In therapy with Amanda, we will create an environment where you will feel safe and held enough to begin an exploration of your deeper potential. I believe that you have the resources available within to enable your own healing and the discovery of your purposeful meaning that already exists in you as your Truth. It is with great excitement that I will help you discover those little gems of wisdom and love so together we can implement ways to integrate these into your life’s journey! I simply desire wonderful things for you!
